2025 Annual Water Quality Report
Each year the City of Quitman publishes a Water Quality Report, also called the Consumer Confidence Report, as required by the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. It explains where your tap water comes from, what was found in it during the past year, and how those results compare to the standards set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Georgia.
We are pleased to report that Quitman's drinking water met all federal and state safety standards, with no violations during the monitoring period. Your water is drawn from the Upper Floridan Aquifer and treated to keep it safe for your family. The full report includes the complete water quality testing data, a description of how your water is treated, important information about lead, and simple tips for conserving water at home.
